In old Cairo, there are approximately hundreds of aluminum factories where many men, women, and children work. Most of the adult workers earn around $90 to $110 per month, while children start working without any fixed wage. The working conditions pose high risks, as the factories are crammed with machines and raw materials, making it difficult for the kids to move around. Additionally, the extreme temperatures inside the factory are almost unbearable for the workers.
