Ranak Martin
Ranak Martin is a versatile, award-winning visual storyteller with more than 15 years of experience in photography, photo editing, videography, video editing, writing, lighting, conducting interviews, mentoring interns, transmitting technologies, managing archives, curating photos, designing flyers and books, creating content for social media platform and website. He has covered major global news stories and high-level events for The Guardian, The Sunday Times UK, Getty Image, and various other newspapers and NGOs in the United States and South Asia. He is skilled in multiple visual approaches and formats and long-form storytelling, collaborating with writers, designers, producers, and multimedia teams to deliver visually compelling stories. He started as a feature photographer in The Daily Star. After his stint at The Daily Star, he worked for DrikNEws as a multimedia journalist. Later, he worked as a Communication Specialist for the United Nations World Food Programme. Other than that, Ranak has worked with international organizations like Human Rights Watch, USA; Sunday Times Magazine; Getty Images, Seattle Globalist, The Guardian, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, UNICEF, IDE, Riverine People, Anadolu Agency, HYSAWA, CARE, SWISS KATALYST, WORLD PRESS PHOTO.
